LIBRARY LOCATION
Housed in The Devil's Rope Museum, McLean, Texas, the library is thought to be the largest collection of barbed wire related publishings known. See museum inventory of Ranch & Brand Collection books.
LIBRARY ACCESS
At this time, the library does not have the staff nor resources to research, copy, and forward library materials. Most common barbed wire history and pertinent information can be found by downloading and printing out the contents of each Web Page title pertaining to barbed wire. These titles are located at the bottom of the Home Page and at the end of each page.
This procedure will provide a study guide for most school projects. Be sure to download the barbed wire images located at the end of the Barbed Wire Identification pages. Actual samples of barbed wire are available on Museum Mercantile.
All library selections are available for in house research only with a copy machine available. Library hours are from 10:00 A.M.-4:00 P.M., Tuesday-Saturday or by special appointment.
